Why does this exist?
The Digital Garden community is creative and curious and have built various patches, add-ons, and new features for their Digital Gardens. This site exists to help people share their knowledge in one central location.
Digital Garden is designed for individual users sharing their notes, and not necessarily for collaboration, which is why we chose to use Jekyll and Just the Docs instead for this site. All of our notes are saved in the public GitHub Repository Community Digital Garden Docs.
From the repository, you can download all of the docs if you’d like, submit issues with our documentation, or suggest changes.
If you would like to submit a new guide, I recommend you check check the Syntax Style Guide. The syntax for Jekyll is a little different than Obsidian-flavored markdown, and the guide will save you a lot of headache.
While made with the best intentions, no guarantees can be made about the content on this site. You are expected to perform your own due diligence and take reasonable precautions (such as backups) to protect your accounts, data, and resources.
